FitCharge Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

FitCharge ("we," "our," or "the app") is a fitness game for Android developed by Aakib Shah Sayed. This Privacy Policy explains what data FitCharge collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

By using FitCharge, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

2a. Health & Fitness Data (via Android Health Connect)

FitCharge reads the following data types from Android Health Connect, only with your explicit permission:

Exercise sessions	Import workouts to earn XP and capture territory on the game map
Exercise routes (GPS paths)	Map your route onto the hex territory grid
Distance	Calculate XP and game scores
Steps	Display daily step counts and award activity XP
Speed	Enrich session stats shown in the app
Elevation gained	Enrich session stats shown in the app
Active / total calories burned	Display calorie burn per session
Sleep sessions	Display sleep duration in daily stats

Health Connect data is never shared with third parties, never used for advertising, and never sold.

You can revoke Health Connect permissions at any time from:

Android Settings → Health Connect → App permissions → FitCharge

2b. Location Data

FitCharge uses your precise GPS location during active outdoor workouts (runs, cycles, walks) to:

Record your route in real time
Capture H3 hexagonal territory cells on the game map

Location is collected only while you are actively recording a workout via a foreground service (you will always see a persistent notification when this is active). FitCharge does not collect location in the background at any other time.
